ITW Announces Conference Call Information For 2008 First Quarter Earnings

Illinois Tool Works Inc. (NYSE:ITW) today announced that it will hold its 2008 first quarter conference call on Wednesday, April 16, 2008. The conference call will begin at 1 p.m. central time and will follow the Company's release of first quarter earnings at 7 a.m. central time on that same day.

The conference call can be accessed by dialing 312.470.0008. The pass code ITW is necessary to join the call. Participants are asked to dial in 15 minutes prior to the start of the call.
