James H. Wooten, Jr.
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
James H. Wooten, Jr. is the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and
Secretary of ITW. In this role, he is responsible for the legal, environmental
health and safety, risk management and government affairs departments.
Prior to joining ITW in 1988, Mr. Wooten was an Associate with the law firm of
Gardner, Carton & Douglas.
Mr. Wooten is a member of the Executive Leadership Council, Minority Corporate
Counsel Association, the American Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association,
the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Society of Corporate Secretaries
and Governance Professionals. Mr. Wooten is a member of the Board of Directors
of Goodwill Industries of Metropolitan Chicago, Inc., Children's Memorial
Hospital, Congo Square Theatre and WTTW.
