Our division-led approach to diversity and inclusion is critical to ensuring everyone at ITW is heard, valued and engaged. In Brazil, our Polymers & Fluids South America division is focused on fostering inclusion through engagement with ITW women across the country and cultural diversity celebrations.
The ITW Women’s Network (IWN) Brazil chapter includes a growing cohort of ITW women across several segments and divisions. IWN Brazil dedicates significant time to the Development pillar of IWN, hosting several programs throughout the year to enhance the knowledge, skills and personal and professional development of the group’s members. Topics have included generational diversity, unconscious bias, domestic violence against women and financial literacy.
In addition to an active role in IWN Brazil, Polymers & Fluids South America strives to create an inclusive workplace by celebrating cultural diversity. The division recognizes several awareness days and months throughout the year, including International Women’s Day, World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development and Pride Month. Colleagues are also encouraged to share their backgrounds and participate in Family Day to encourage a better understanding of each other’s differences.
