ITW and Miller Electric Manufacturing, a division within our Welding segment, continue to support workforce development for Chicago-area teens through a longstanding partnership with After School Matters (ASM). ASM supports up to 19,000 teens annually with paid opportunities to develop their talents while gaining critical skills for work, college and beyond.
In 2023, the opening of the ITW Welding Studio at ASM’s Lutz Family Annex was made possible through the donation of state-of-the-art equipment and other resources. Additionally, ITW colleagues visited with the students to discuss manufacturing and welding careers during a summer visit. We are proud to support the next generation of trades professionals.
